What you will be doing: Operate, set up, and safely shut down billet saws and banding equipment to meet daily production schedules. Accurately stamp, tag, and identify billets to maintain material traceability and inventory accuracy. Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment. Monitor equipment performance, change saw blades as needed, and report maintenance issues promptly. Complete production documentation and operational records accurately and on time. Follow established safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and safe work practices. Maintain a clean, organized work area and support housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will make you successful? Required Education/Experience: Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation. Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine equipment adjustments and identify operational issues. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working overtime or rotating shifts as needed. High school diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience. Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment. Experience working in a heavy industrial, metals, casting, or extrusion environment.
