Warehouse Associate (FL)

Overview Warehouse Associates are responsible for collectively working together with peers and managers to increase customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receive/store materials, as well as pick, pack, ship orders in a timely manner that meets or exceeds our customer expectations. Responsibilities Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor or their designate. Prepare and stage orders in appropriate area for delivery or customer pickup. Follow all internal procedures or special instructions pertaining to preparation and staging of orders. Receive materials from suppliers, as well as customer equipment by properly inspecting material against paperwork received with equipment or material. Put away all materials and/or equipment in their properly designated locations in a timely manner. Communicate positively with fellow workers, supervisors, and customers. Responsible for keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently. Process returned materials and equipment according to internal procedures. Adhere to all established company policies, procedures and safety guidelines. Present a neat and professional image at all times. Assist in keeping facility secure. Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Forklift certification and ability to operate forklift safely. Ability to receive, inspect, and stage materials; ability to follow internal procedures and safety guidelines. Strong communication and teamwork skills; positive interaction with peers, supervisors, and customers. Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. Proficiency with computerized systems and relevant technologies as required. Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
