Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Position Overview Provides direct nursing care in complex assessment and intervention settings, following organizational policies and protocols. Key Responsibilities Collects comprehensive patient data and performs triage using age, development, and cultural considerations. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues. Develops and implements individualized care plans, promotes health, and educates patients. Evaluates patient progress and communicates effectively across practice areas. Demonstrates leadership, applies current evidence-based practices, and ensures patient safety. Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent. State-specific licensing and certifications such as BLS, ALS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, or TNCC. Strong communication, alertness, and physical stamina. No prior experience required. Physical & Certification Requirements Frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and data entry.
