Senior Talent Development Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in Overland Park, KS, and assisting them search for a new Senior Talent Development Specialist. The Senior Talent Development Specialist plays a key role in designing, delivering, and evolving talent and organizational development strategies that drive business performance and workforce capability. This role partners closely with business leaders and HR to advance performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and development planning initiatives. You will lead the execution of high-impact talent programs, build scalable development solutions, and deliver meaningful learning experiences that strengthen leadership effectiveness and support employee growth across the organization. Strategic Partnership & Talent Development Partner with business leaders and HR to assess talent development needs and deliver targeted, practical solutions Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, development planning, and team effectiveness Translate business and organizational needs into scalable learning strategies, tools, and processes Support initiatives that promote an inclusive culture, employee engagement, and equitable development opportunities Lead change management efforts to drive adoption and long-term success of talent programs Oversee and continuously improve core talent processes, including: Performance management cycles Goal setting and alignment Employee engagement survey lifecycle Design and lead leadership development programs and learning experiences Manage engagement survey strategy, including vendor coordination, communications, insights analysis, and action planning Support initiatives related to employee experience, onboarding, career development, and internal mobility Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful rollout and adoption of talent initiatives Learning Design & Facilitation Design and deliver engaging learning experiences, including workshops, toolkits, and development resources Facilitate leadership sessions, team workshops, and targeted development programs Create scalable learning materials such as guides, job aids, and microlearning content Apply modern learning practices and adult learning principles to enhance engagement and retention Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement Analyze program data and participant feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities Define and track key metrics to measure program effectiveness and business impact Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience Support ongoing innovation and modernization of talent development strategies Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field 5-7 years of experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development Proven ability to influence and partner with leaders at multiple levels Strong communication and facilitation skills Experience designing and delivering engaging learning programs and resources Strong project management and organizational skills High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies Experience building and scaling talent development programs Familiarity with HRIS or learning platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, SuccessFactors, LMS tools) Experience supporting organizational change initiatives or program adoption efforts #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
