Customer Service Specialist/Pharmacy Technician

Long Term Care Pharmacy seeks CUSTOMER SERVICE/PHARMACY TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM! SpecialtyRx is an innovative, full-service pharmacy who partners with subacute and long-term care facilities throughout the United States, transforming drug care by facilitating the complete medication dispensing process. Under general supervision of a Data Entry Manager and/or Supervisor, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast, professional and accurate communication. Responsibilities: Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager and/or Supervisor. Answer phones to respond to orders, re-orders and general customer inquiries. Handle and resolve client Facilities complaints and inquires in timely manner. Triage incoming faxes promptly and accurately by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times. Place outbound calls to facilities to clarify orders as needed. Qualifications: MUST BE a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of NJ. Previous experience in pharmacy customer service. LTC pharmacy experience preferred. Hospital or Retail pharmacy experience a plus. Knowledge of Brand Name / Generic medications a plus.
