About the Role Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort, and provide appropriate education throughout treatment. Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to support quality care. Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.). Provide superior chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with state dental practice acts. Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping. Prepare the treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations. Manage supply and inventory levels, place, and expedite orders as needed. Partner with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow. Location 101 Village Walk Dr., Holly Springs, NC Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment. DA I with 1+ year of experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Regular HIPAA training; ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards. Preferred Experience 2+ years of experience in a dental setting. Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, iTero. Knowledge of Invisalign. Ability to run multiple columns. Dental Assistant II preferred. Physical Requirements Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year. Undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test as a standard hiring requirement in most states.
