RN - MedSurg

Registered Nurse - Adult and Pediatric Med/Surg Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients on a combined Adult and Pediatric Med/Surg unit. The nurse will manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 and be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Manage medications and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification are required.
• Experience in Med/Surg preferred, with a focus on adult and pediatric care.
