Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Step Down Unit, providing high-quality care to patients post-MI, post-operative vascular, GI bleed, and DKA. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and managing care plans in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely and appropriate interventions.
• Titrate drips such as Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene as necessary.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with step-down type patients.
