Roadway Maintenance & Signals Technician

The Mississippi Department of Transportation is seeking applicants for a first-level vocational position focused on technical work involving equipment operation and maintenance. The role includes repairing traffic signals, installing and maintaining road signs, and applying safety chemicals. The ideal candidate will perform basic operations, pothole patching, and respond to disasters as needed. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with consideration for experience in lieu of education.
