Registered Pharmacist

Overview Staff Pharmacist (Full-Time or Part-Time) Join Our Independent Community Pharmacy. We are a well-established independent pharmacy in Hicksville, NY seeking an experienced, patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join our team. Responsibilities Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications. Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence. Administer immunizations in accordance with New York State regulations. Provide medication therapy management (MTM) and other clinical services as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to resolve prescription questions and optimize patient care. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and pharmacy regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and oversee inventory management. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of retail/community pharmacy experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Medicare Part D, commercial insurance processing, and pharmacy workflow. Excellent communication and patient counseling skills. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
