An aesthetic nurse is a registered nurse who specializes in cosmetic and dermatological treatments. They work in dermatology clinics, plastic surgeons' offices, and medical spas to perform non-surgical procedures, consult with patients on skin health, and assist with cosmetic surgeries.

Common Duties

• Administer Injectables: Give treatments like Botox and dermal fillers to smooth wrinkles or shape the face.
• Perform Skin Treatments: Do laser therapies, chemical peels, and micro needling.
• Consult and Educate: Talk with patients about their goals, review health history, and explain aftercare.
• Assist Physicians: Help doctors during plastic surgery or other in-office cosmetic operations.
• Manage Recovery: Watch for side effects or bad reactions and treat them safely.

Work Environment
