About the Position

Job Opportunity – ICU Travel Nurse – Idaho

Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts), every other weekend, 13-week contract

Highlights:

• 29-bed general ICU in a Level 2 trauma center with a growing cardiac program (approximately 200 cases annually)
• Advanced critical care including CRRT, Impella, IABP, ECMO, and specialized burn care
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, occasionally 1:3 for stable ICU step-down patients
• Meditech documentation system; equipped with Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV 1000, Primaflex CRRT, and Cardiohelp ECMO
• On-call only when census drops; minimal call expectations
• Team with an average of 12 years of ICU experience providing mentorship and support

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ABLS certifications welcome
• Advanced ICU skills required: ventilator management, ABG interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with critical procedures including intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopy, and bedside trach/PEG tube placement
• Navy blue scrubs required
