Group Summary: The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets. Skills and Experience Required: Minimum of two years Health, Safety, and Environmental experience, preferably in an Injection Molding and Painting facility. Demonstrated strength with analytical/problem solving, oral and written communication, and organizational skills. Must have working knowledge of Industrial Ergonomics. Must have strong computer skills in a Windows platform. Experience in computer skills such as Microsoft Word or Excel Fluent in English (reading and writing). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Physical Requirements: This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while sitting for up to eight (8) hours a day The ability to lift up to 10 pounds on an infrequent basis. Good vision at a close distance is required. Must be capable of performing repetitive motion above and below shoulder height for up to eight (8) hours a day. Training Requirements: You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality, continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be an essential part of your job and Decostar business operations.
