Project Manager

LaSalle Network is partnering with an industry organization to hire a Project Manager to support a large-scale capital project program within a heavy industrial environment. This Project Manager will be responsible for leading multiple capital projects from initial planning through execution and closeout, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery while maintaining strong project governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination within a structured project management framework. What’s the job? Lead multiple capital projects through the full lifecycle from planning and design through construction and closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, changes, and schedule impacts Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, quality, and safety requirements Coordinate contractors and vendors, including scope development, coordination, and performance oversight Support procurement activities, including bid evaluations and contractor selection processes Maintain project documentation including schedules, logs, and governance records Prepare regular project updates, dashboards, and performance reports for stakeholders Support cost tracking, forecasting, and capital expenditure reconciliation Work within enterprise project systems for cost tracking, documentation, and reporting Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment Support early-stage project planning and continuous improvement of project execution processes What’s needed? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred 5+ years of project management experience in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments Experience managing capital projects ($5M+ preferred) Strong experience with contractor and vendor coordination Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet Experience with project cost tracking and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms) Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and budget management Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills PMP certification is preferred but not required Experience in heavy industrial environments such as metals, minerals, or process manufacturing is a plus Familiarity with structured project governance or stage-gate processes is a plus What’s in it for me?
