Job Summary:

Position Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Rehabilitation
Location: Merced, CA 95348
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Days || 8:00 AM-4:00 PM || 40 hrs. scheduled (32 hrs. guaranteed)
Pay Rate: $52-$58/hr

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide exercises and activities focused on improving strength, coordination, balance, range of motion, and fine motor skills.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home programs.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure all services are provided in accordance with facility policies and applicable clinical standards.

• Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Relevant occupational therapy education and clinical experience.
• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
