Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, typically treating 1-2 patients per hour, customizing treatments to meet specific needs.
• Utilize advanced evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve patient mobility and address pain management effectively.
• Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on real-time feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Document patient care efficiently using WebPT, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Engage with medical professionals to coordinate holistic patient care, participating in case discussions when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques, exercises, and self-care strategies to promote ongoing recovery at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including post-operative recovery individuals, athletes, and those suffering from chronic conditions. You will play a key role in rehabilitating patients recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements, ligament repairs, and sports injuries. By utilizing personalized rehabilitation programs, you will empower patients to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one prior to employment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, showcasing strong problem-solving skills and a patient-centered philosophy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster effective relationships with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist is required, we particularly value candidates with hands-on experience in orthopedic outpatient settings. Familiarity with electronic documentation systems, specifically WebPT, will be considered an asset during the selection process. Additional certifications in specialized therapy modalities such as dry needling or manual therapy techniques are also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
