Integrated Logistics Support Manager

Job ID: 114598 Job Summary Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM) overseeing logistics operations for defense integrated product support initiatives, based in Bridgeton, MO, with an in‑person or hybrid schedule. Leading a team of logisticians, trainers, publication authors, and field support personnel across multiple military programs (navigation, land, communication, control systems). Responsibilities Lead all logistics efforts, monitoring cost, budget, schedule, and performance. Supervise a team of Logistics Engineers, Trainers, Technical Publication writers, and field support personnel to complete complex projects. Forecast and plan logistics project workloads, budgets, and tasks. Ensure compliance and quality with all project logistics requirements based on customer needs. Coordinate logistics support program activities: spares, technical data, test equipment, field service, training, field and in‑house modification programs, technical manual development, provisioning, and change control with customers. Analyze engineering change documentation to determine applicability and scope of effort on logistics support activities. Mentor and coach less experienced logisticians. Attend engineering, marketing, and program management meetings to provide support planning guidance and requirements. Travel for logistics demonstrations, technical manual validation/verification, government test events, program management reviews, and customer/supplier visits (yields ranging from Yuma Proving Grounds, AZ to Sterling Heights, MI and beyond). Present complicated logistics support and system‑design interrelation topics to audiences from informal one‑on‑one discussions to executive level. Communicate, reinforce, and defend the organization’s mission, values, and culture. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in logistics support (ILS) or equivalent mix of education/training and experience. Leadership and supervisory experience. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership guidance. Decision‑making ability for complex issues in a timely manner. Preferred experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Willingness to travel up to 20%.
