The Role

As an IT Technician, you’ll provide a wide range of support across our diverse client base. No two days are the same. You’ll handle everything from desktop troubleshooting and user onboarding to on-site cabling, camera installations, network configurations, and building access systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver desktop, laptop, and end-user support (Windows 10/11, Office 365, printers/scanners, peripherals)
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, email, ShareFile, and application issues
• Perform malware removal, system optimization, updates, and performance tuning
• Support network infrastructure — UniFi/Ubiquiti, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, VPNs, basic Cat6 cabling & termination
• Install and maintain physical security solutions — IP cameras & NVRs (UniFi Protect, Verkada), PDK/ProdataKey card access systems, door hardware & wiring
• Deploy and manage digital signage and directories (Yodeck and similar platforms)
• Assist with managed IT services, server maintenance, backups, and remote monitoring tools
• Set up new workstations, user accounts, email, phones (Level365), and remote access
• Provide on-site service at client locations (offices, commercial buildings, construction sites)
• Document work, communicate clearly with clients and the team, and contribute ideas for improvements

What We’re Looking For:

Ideal Candidate:

• 1–3+ years of relevant IT experience (or strong entry-level candidates with education, certifications, and demonstrable hands-on skills)
• A genuine problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and enjoys working towards solutions
• Comfortable with both remote support and physical/field work (cabling, ladder work, hardware installation)
• Solid foundational knowledge of:
• Windows desktop administration
• Networking basics (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, VPN)
• Office 365 / Active Directory user management
• Strong customer service mindset and clear communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (job site mileage paid)

Big Pluses (we’ll train the right attitude):

• Experience with PDK card access, UniFi/Ubiquiti, security cameras/NVRs, or digital signage
• Low-voltage cabling or termination skills
• Familiarity with ShareFile, Level365, Malwarebytes/ThreatDown, Cisco Duo, or pfSense
• Any certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, etc.)
