Spencer, & Johnson, Harvell, & Spencer, PLLC is a boutique law firm with a team of four dedicated attorneys focusing on estate, trust, guardianship, and fiduciary litigation. Our practice encompasses courtroom work related to estates, including probating wills, contesting wills or trusts, guardianship and heirship disputes, and cases involving fiduciary liability, such as breach of fiduciary duty. We are committed to providing excellence and personalized services in these specialized legal areas. Located in Dallas, TX, our firm offers a collaborative and client‑focused environment for both clients and team members.
Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Dallas, TX, for a Litigation Associate. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, handling motions, managing depositions, and representing clients in court. The role also includes client communication, case preparation, and addressing a variety of legal issues related to estate, trust, guardianship, and fiduciary litigation.
Qualifications
- Strong legal knowledge and expertise in estate, trust, guardianship, and fiduciary law.
- Proficiency in drafting motions and handling legal documentation effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in legal research and preparation for complex cases.
- Practical skills in managing depositions and other procedural matters.
- Familiarity with courtroom procedures and experience working with courts.
- Exceptional professional communication and client management skills.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas is required.
- Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
