Electrical Engineer
Aegis Worldwide
Aegis is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our client's organization in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- 10+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and Motor Control experience
- Allen Bradley PLC experience: program from scratch, modify, and troubleshoot
- AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical experience
- Experience with new equipment installs, legacy equipment upgrades, repairs, and modifications
- Electrical Safety Experience
- Flexibility to work 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM and a couple of Saturdays per year
Plus Haves:
- Strong with 13.8kV / high voltage systems
- 480V distribution experience (not mandatory).
- Experience with MCCs, control panels, SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70, and Chicago Electrical Code.
- Food or Pharma experience (open to other industries)
- Knowledge of FDA and SQF standards
