Job Title Banking Associate Work Location Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America Hours & Pay Hours: 20 per week Pay: $22.00 - $27.75 USD Role Overview The Banking Associate is a frontline professional who delivers TD’s brand promise at a store location. The role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and educational support on TD products and services, and building strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Process customer transactions on the teller line and via the TD platform. Open and close personal deposit accounts and service everyday bank transactions, debit/credit card issues, mobile and online banking. Deliver end‑to‑end financial advice, building trust through educational content and proactive insights. Identify customers’ financial needs and promote relevant TD products or refer to appropriate team members. Manage lead generation and outreach activities, including outbound calls, SMS, and appointment scheduling. Represent the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve walk‑in traffic in the lobby. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies, including cash drawer management and customer authentication. Maintain accurate records of transactions, audit findings, and regulatory requests. Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and maintain a positive work environment. Customer & Shareholder Accountabilities Provide legendary customer service while transacting and promoting TD products. Schedule and prioritize client meetings to minimize wait times. Follow all operational guidelines to protect customer interests and ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and other regulations. Perform cash, deposit, and withdrawal transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Act as a dual control agent or follow open/close procedures when required. Employee/Team Responsibilities Align with TD’s brand and culture by actively participating in team activities. Act as a brand champion internally and externally. Seek opportunities to improve work quality and welcome change. Mentor newer colleagues when appropriate. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum one year of customer service experience (volunteer, education, or military preferred). Preferred teller or retail banking experience. Strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving, and scheduling skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Notary license preferred. Ability to work scheduled operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Willingness to complete required teller training and initial platform training.
