Our client, a busy medical office in Newport News, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to support daily front desk operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays an important part in delivering a positive patient experience while ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Schedule: Full-time, In-Office, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday availability may be required for additional scheduling. Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments
• Verify patient information and update records as needed
• Collect payments, process copays, and maintain accurate documentation
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
• Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
• Support office staff with general administrative duties

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality
