ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2016 and currently lead a team of 16. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I built my career in distribution, supply chain, and logistics. I’m a graduate of the University of Memphis, married, and a proud father of four. Family is a huge part of my life, and outside of work, I enjoy traveling and have always had a love for basketball.

Giving back is deeply important to me and our agency. I founded the Armelle Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Memphis to help students pursue higher education and launched Operation Give Back in 2015, which has provided food and clothing to hundreds of people in our local homeless community. Our agency also hosts an annual “Lunch With Scholars” to recognize and celebrate graduating honor students from an inner-city Memphis high school.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Manager for Elvin Taylor - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agent office departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
• Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
• Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
• Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
