Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic person to be our Produce Clerk . As the Produce Clerk, you will make sure that the store’s produce is always fresh and in good condition. You will inspect the produce to ensure that it is defect-free and arrange it on the shelves. The ideal candidate can lift heavy boxes, perform physical tasks, and have excellent customer service skills.  

Responsibilities 

• Monitor and replenish produce and other goods on display shelves throughout your shift.
• Rotate products and goods according to the store’s policies
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting each guest with a smile and offer assistance
• Be safety oriented by following all known safety procedures and utilizing good operational, loss prevention, and safety judgment at all times

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Produce Clerk or similar position is preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, write and communicate accurately in English.
• Understanding of best practices in sales and customer service
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 50lbs
