Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg & PCU Duration: Contract Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of PCU mixed with Med/Surg/Tele experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to various units - Prior travel experience preferred - Degree or 5 years of experience required Description: This position requires floating to multiple units, including Med/Surg, PCU, and ED Hold. The home base will be a Med/Surg Telemetry floor. Ratios are 4 to 6 patients per RN. Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic, is necessary. Travelers will be expected to integrate seamlessly into the unit and perform at the level of core staff. All requests for time off must be provided at the time of submission. The culture places a strong emphasis on teamwork and support among staff. Hard document deadlines apply before starting the position.
