In this role you will be interfacing with AE program team, external customers, Airworthiness, and others throughout the development lifecycle. This is a technical leadership role with significant technical management responsibility, that is expected to work effectively in a challenging, self-directed, and agile environment and ensures robust, timely program delivery.What you will be doingYou will be responsible for leading a team through the system/software development phases from program planning through service release as outlined in ARP4754 and DO-178You will be communicating a clear view of all technical development activities and technical risks to team members and internal/external stakeholdersYou will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans required to meet the program cost and schedules.The ability to clearly communicate with internal and external customers is required.Basic Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years of system or software development experience; OrMaster’s degree in STEMPhD in STEM In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US CitizenPreferred Requirements:Engineering Degree preferredProject/Function Management Engineering ExperienceDemonstrated experience of successfully delivering engineering technical projects/tasks to time, cost and quality, and leadership of teams to do the sameExperience of collaboration with diverse teamsExperience with DO-178, ARP4754, or similar certificationsGas turbine engine controls experienceExceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment; willingness to accept responsibility and take initiative; and drive to finish assigned tasks on scheduleAn excellent command of the English language for both written and oral communicationOur vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
