Job Description

Complies with and follows treatment program established by the Physical Therapist. Conducts objective clinical testing. Assists in gathering data during tests and measurements. Immediately reports all patient changes, unexpected responses, problems to the assigned Physical Therapist before modifying a treatment program. Documents patient treatments performed daily including progress notes on inpatients and outpatients. Supervises supportive personnel. Gives direction to aides and volunteers who may be assisting in patient care. Provides patient and family education and gives instructions that are clear and complete.

Qualifications

Education: Associates or better in Physical Therapy.

Experience: Previous PTA experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications: Physical Therapist Assist
