  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing tailored strategies that help patients process their trauma and foster emotional healing.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

  • Deliver crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate assistance and stabilization to at-risk individuals.

  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them to understand their experiences and seek additional resources when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic specializes in treating individuals who are struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults, adolescents, and potentially families, all of whom bring unique backgrounds and stories. Your role will encompass not just individual healing but also the strengthening of community bonds through group therapy initiatives.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

  • Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred, focusing specifically on trauma-focused therapies. Your background in providing care to diverse populations, as well as experience with crisis intervention, will be pivotal to your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an annual salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
