Graphic Designer

We are in search of a Graphic Designer, Manager to join our Creative Team! Position Summary The Graphic Designer, Manager's role is to create original designs for merchandise product lines, marketing materials, and ecommerce assets, while supporting the Art Director and Art Admin with department operations, including interdepartmental communication and creative asset organization. The Graphic Designer, Manager works closely with the Account Management team, the Product Development team, Production Art Team, and the Art Director to meet design brief expectations and finalize product lines for client approval. This position reports directly to the Art Director. A day in the life of a Graphic Designer, Manager: Create original graphics, logos, and artwork for merchandise product lines using a wide range of mediums including digital design, illustration, typography, and photography. Review the project management site, ClickUp, to determine what projects assignments, due dates, and design direction. Apply new and existing designs to sourced products (apparel, souvenirs, paper goods, and ecommerce assets), maintaining art direction as well as brand and sourcing guidelines/specs. Manipulate client-provided assets into new compositions. Create merchandise mockups (souvenirs, accessories, and apparel). Project manage select projects, working with Account Managers to compile design briefs and curate product art direction for client approval. Update printed materials including program books, inserts, and marketing materials. Manage print-on-demand mechanical design and production art delivery. Set up print-ready artwork within all vendor guidelines, including screen print specs, file formatting, and Pantone color management. Assemble style guide and licensing materials. Work alongside the Art Admin to compile/design presentation decks for new product, pitch, marketing, and production team meetings. Collaborate with the Product Development team and Account Managers to ensure accuracy in design intention. Maintain creative asset organization and file standards across the department. Attend virtual meetings with the art department, art and account managers, as well as product launch meetings. THIS ROLE IS PERFECT IF YOU ARE: Enthusiastic and passionate about live-event merchandise, as well as the theater and entertainment industry Self-motivated, detail-oriented, a critical thinker, and solution-focused Adaptable and personable, and you love brainstorming and collaboration Great at time management and have exceptional verbal/written communication skills Able to prioritize, adhere to deadlines, and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced, creative environment Someone with a keen eye for print typography JOB REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in merchandise, entertainment, or licensed product Bachelor's degree with focus in Graphic Design, Digital/Interactive Design, Fine Art or related field (or equivalent experience) Advanced Adobe Creative Suite Skills (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ClickUp/Osana, and brand portals Working knowledge of print production standards, file formats, and Pantone color management Understanding of visual elements (layout, typography/fonts, color & color correction, etc) Strong sense of design techniques (visual mockups, photo editing, consistency, etc) Proven aptitude for quick, creative, and adaptive thinking Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal Interest in entertainment and live events!
