Data Architect

Role Overview Data Architect on our team, responsible for translating the customer’s IT needs and future goals into a detailed data strategy. The role includes performing data access analysis, developing strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and implementation of data strategy. You will define, design, and build dimensional and relational databases; develop data‑warehousing blueprints; evaluate hardware and software platforms; and integrate systems. Responsibilities Leverage Agile design approaches to develop, manage, evaluate, and improve tools and processes. Develop and implement enterprise data strategies for the management and sharing of data. Ensure enterprise data assets are governed by a comprehensive data‑management approach. Lead transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, integration of advanced technology, and modernization of legacy systems. Mentor and develop the next generation of developers and solutions architects. Shape the digital solutions business and identify opportunities for growth. Qualifications 10+ years of experience with program management, including managing complex IT projects. TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or IT. Advanced level certifications (e.g., PgMP or PMP, ITIL 4 Foundation, Managing Professional Framework Certification). Experience with Agile methodologies and project tools. Experience developing and writing Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW). Vendor proposal review and vendor management experience to align contracts and SLAs. Knowledge of DoD project or program management practices. Ability to lead large, multifunctional teams of 150+ personnel, work independently, and anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams. Master’s degree in Project Management or IT, and SAFe Program Consultant Certification are preferred. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 annualized USD.
