Regional Marketing SpecialistThe Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible for translating the marketing strategy into local market action, ensuring consistent campaign execution across all store locations, and helping drive traffic and sales at West Music's retail locations. This role serves as the critical bridge between marketing direction and regional execution, ensuring West Music maintains brand consistency while responding to local market opportunities.This role focuses on serving consumer audiences including band directors, music hobbyists, parents of student musicians, and local community members. The Regional Marketing Specialist ensures West Music's marketing presence is actively felt in local markets through store events, in-store signage, community engagement, social media presence, and regional campaigns that drive foot traffic and sales growth.The Regional Marketing Specialist creates a feedback loop between stores and marketing, coordinates regional marketing calendars and local events, manages store-specific marketing asset production within brand guidelines, and provides operational marketing support for regional initiatives. This role requires strong collaboration with store managers, regional sales teams, and marketing leadership.Travel to store locations and regional events will be required.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of West Music:Regional Campaign Execution & Adaptation:Translate marketing campaigns into region-specific action plans with clear timelines and execution requirementsCoordinate campaign timing and implementation across multiple store locationsEnsure promotional alignment between digital marketing and in-store customer experiencesMonitor regional campaign performance and report results to marketing leadershipIdentify opportunities to amplify successful local initiativesStore Marketing Operations & Coordination:Manage the regional marketing calendar, coordinating local events with store leadership, promotions, and seasonal campaignsProcess store marketing requests through established workflows and approval processesManage distribution of marketing supplies, print materials, and promotional items to store locationsCoordinate digital signage updates and ensure in-store promotional materials are current and properly displayedMaintain regional marketing asset library and ensure stores have access to approved materialsHandle regional customer service inquiries related to promotions, events, and marketing initiativesSupport store managers with marketing and execution guidanceLocal Content Creation & Community Engagement:Produce store-specific social media content within established brand guidelinesCapture and document local success stories, customer testimonials, and community engagement for brand amplificationCoordinate photo and video needs for regional events, store activities, and local initiativesDevelop localized email marketing for store-specific campaigns and event promotionsCreate content that highlights store staff expertise, local inventory, and community involvementParticipate in social listening to understand regional customer needs and competitive dynamicsSupport content development for local sponsorships and community partnershipsStore Support & Relationship Management:Conduct routine check-ins with regional and store managers to understand marketing needs, challenges, and opportunitiesAggregate store feedback on campaign effectiveness, customer response, and competitive activityIdentify regional market opportunities and emerging local trendsWork with Regional Executives to train store staff on marketing tools and campaign executionServe as primary marketing contact for store teams, providing responsive support and guidanceBuild collaborative relationships with store leadership to ensure marketing supports sales objectivesReport regional performance metrics, insights, and recommendations to marketingRegional Sales & Events Support:Collaborate with regional sales representatives to align marketing with local market prioritiesSupport regional school services sales teams with collateral, promotional materials, and event resourcesCoordinate marketing elements for store events including clinics, workshops, and product demonstrationsAssist with local event logistics including signage, promotional materials, and digital promotionSupport regional sales initiatives with targeted marketing campaigns and store-specific offersWork with the Events Team to integrate local activities into broader West Music event strategyMarketing Administration & Operations:Manage regional marketing budget tracking, vendor invoicing, and expense reportingCoordinate local vendor relationships including printers, event venues, and promotional suppliersSupport email list management and data hygiene for regional customer segmentsMaintain documentation of regional marketing activities and campaign performanceOperate proficiently within the West Music tech stack including Wrike, HubSpot, Canva, Adobe, as well as CRM, marketing automation, and content management systemsEnsure compliance with brand guidelines and marketing best practicesEducation, Experience & QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field3+ years of professional marketing experience in B2B, B2C, or agency environmentStrong understanding of retail and consumer behaviorExcellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated copywriting abilityProficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and digital marketing toolsBasic experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)Strong project coordination and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locationsCustomer service orientation and responsive communication styleComfort with data-driven decision making and performance reportingDesired Qualifications:Experience in retail marketing or multi-location marketing coordinationBackground in music education, retail music, or the music products industryCRM and marketing automation software experience (HubSpot or similar)Community event
