Personal Banker

Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within the assigned geographic area Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs while maintaining service quality and bank standards Build customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and solutions Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities, promoting solutions, and making appropriate referrals Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications Perform cash handling and teller line activities while maintaining compliance and operational standards Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience Deliver accurate, compliant service using sound judgment within defined risk controls Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and other specialists Commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities Requirements 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role is desired Experience building trust-based customer relationships is desired Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels is desired Demonstrated comfort with digital tools and technology is desired Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions is desired Proven ability to collaborate with teammates and partners is desired Demonstrated ability to follow policies and regulations while identifying and escalating risk concerns is desired Ability to travel 100% of the time within assigned geography Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays SAFE registration required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after start date Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background Must comply with credit review and ongoing screening requirements This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in customer relationship management and financial services, with a strong ability to connect customer needs to appropriate banking solutions.
