Reeb® Millwork an SBPBrand is currently looking for Quality Technician to join our VALUES based organization.We seek to serve people first, and we operate according to a moral compass aimed at doing what is right even when it is hard. Match unit to label to ensure quality standards (jam width, hinge type, bore specifications, correct insert and/or sill) Thorough understanding of Work Order tickets & the ability to read and interpret Shop drawings and templates Identify cause of errors, problems and/or defects Mark items for acceptance or rejection (products and/or materials not meeting specifications) Conceal blemishes in work pieces, such as nicks and dents and make minor repairs Discuss validation results with those responsible for products and recommend corrective actions Notify supervisors of production problems and assist in identifying corrective action Assist in recommending and developing solutions to address quality concerns and to enhance quality/productivity Ability to learn and utilize DMAIC, Lean & Six Sigma tools in role Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards Assure proper housekeeping and organization Abide by proper standard of work procedures and safety standards when operating hand tools and other machines or tools Other duties as assigned Who We Are: Reeb is one of the largest distributors of millwork products such as exterior and interior pre-hung door units, door slabs, and columns.
