Production Worker

EHC is looking for a Production Worker for a Client in the Houston Area

Schedule: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Summary

Candidates must be able to continuously lift pails weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift.

The Production Worker I supports manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and shipping operations. Responsibilities include producing finished goods, working with products supplied by machines and vendors, supporting assembly activities, packaging completed products, preparing shipments, and conducting basic quality checks. This is an on-site, hourly position. Additional hours may be required during peak production periods and year-end demand.

The organization manufactures and distributes a variety of mechanical products serving the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. The company is committed to delivering high-quality products, strong value, and reliable service to customers while maintaining efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all established workplace policies, procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain quality standards by verifying product quantities and inspecting products according to specifications.
• Assist production personnel by following instructions and established procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks on basic electronic or production equipment.
• Produce required quantities of parts within specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Properly use basic hand tools and equipment as required.
• Assemble, package, and prepare materials and products for distribution.
• Organize and prepare goods for shipment.
• Provide general production support, including basic equipment adjustments, maintenance assistance, and cleaning activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. Employees will regularly be required to stand, walk, sit, communicate, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Additional physical requirements include:

• Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, keyboards, or phones.
• Ability to work with computers as needed.
• Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
