CAD Operator

We have four US locations with over 800 employees.CAD Operator:Uses CAD software to modify, cut, and paste various mechanical drawings for extrusion tooling and machinery components.Duties and Responsibilities:Utilizes CAD software to create and maintain various die and mechanical drawings.Utilizes CAD software to review and revise various die and mechanical drawings.Maintains tooling system charts and assemblies.Provides interdepartmental support.Supports designers and engineers.Draws and details go-gauge drawings.Supports fine tuning and tooling maintenance departments.Responsible for file maintenance.All other duties as assigned.Skills:Proficient in the use of Desktop Inventor and AutoCAD, Excel & Word software.Good verbal and written communication skills.Good documentation skills.Ability to work in cross functional environment.Ability to handle multiple priorities, results driven and self-motivated.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility in job responsibilities and assignments.Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities through excellent time management and organizational skills.Accountability, assertiveness, dependability, and responsiveness are essential.Education:Associate's Degree required in CAD Drafting or Mechanical Engineering.VEKA provides a good work-life balance with a comprehensive benefit package.
