OR Certified Surgical Technologist Seasonal PRN

Rate: $35/hourly Shift: PRN - Seasonal PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee) Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. Job Summary and Qualifications A surgical scrub technician is completely proficient in scrubbing all operating room procedures, and further possesses the capability to prioritize and organize their workload as delegated by their Supervisor. Scrub Tech also must demonstrate proficiency in the provision of quality patient care and efficient assistance to surgeons. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.
