Compensation & Benefits $100,000 annual salary, paid weekly Full health, dental, and vision coverage starting day one Dedicated on‑site location at an Alpha campus (Phoenix, AZ; Oklahoma City, Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, Fort Worth, Houston (South Houston or The Woodlands); Plano, TX; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; Dorado, Puerto Rico with relocation assistance) 40 hours per week, 100% classroom‑based work with K‑2 students Responsibilities Create and facilitate small‑group K‑2 reading workshops grounded in structured‑literacy approaches (Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, IMSE, or equivalent) using student performance data Facilitate daily motivation sessions to ensure 100% of students achieve their weekly adaptive‑app targets, leveraging Alpha’s motivational framework (school currency, leaderboards, age‑appropriate gamification) Conduct and evaluate running records, fluency probes, and decoding assessments to monitor progress and refine instruction Analyze AI‑generated performance data from Alpha’s adaptive learning platforms to differentiate instruction in real time Serve as an approachable, energetic adult that students look forward to seeing daily What You Won’t Be Doing Implement a published reading curriculum, scripted program, or district pacing calendar; you create instruction from student data Deliver whole‑class lectures; all instruction occurs in small, targeted groups Work as a reading consultant, teacher coach, or district‑level specialist; you work directly with children in the classroom daily Manage a traditional classroom schedule or homework checking; your schedule consists of workshops, motivation sessions, and data‑informed small groups Assign grades or complete report cards; student progress is captured in app data and your running records Key Responsibilities Provide structured‑literacy instruction that produces measurable acceleration in K‑2 reading outcomes across phonics, fluency, and decoding.
