Graduate Nurse Career Opportunity A transitional role for graduate nurses to begin orienting while awaiting NCLEX certification while providing individualized, compassionate care that supports patient recovery. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care activities appropriate to training and competency for assigned patients. Assist and collaborate with Registered Nurses in completing patient care activities to promote excellent patient satisfaction and outcomes. Gain clinical experience by learning nursing procedures and disease processes and familiarizing yourself with the hospital environment. Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate recovery. Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed. Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by patients. Qualifications CPR certification required. Proof of completion of an RN program and eligibility to sit for the NCLEX. Must take the NCLEX within six months of being granted Graduate Nurse status.
