Direct Support Professional (DSP) Full Time – Taunton, MA, US Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly Openings: Monday/Tuesday 2:00PM - 10:00PM & 10:00PM- 8:00AM, Thursday 10:00PM - 8:00AM, & Sunday 4:00PM- 10:00PM $1,000.00 Sign-on Bonus (Pro-rated for Part-Time) Responsibilities Provide supervision and support to clients in a residential group home setting. Offer hands‑on, person‑centered individualized care and support for residents. Work with the Residential Manager and team members to support four residents. Perform general responsibilities such as house cleaning, assistance with toileting/showering, job coaching, and role modeling. Intervene with clients when needed, implementing behavioral interventions including physical restraint, and lifting and transporting in personal vehicle or company van. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals who have autism and developmental disabilities; 3+ years preferred. High School diploma. Must be able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently. Ability to speak, see and hear clearly/audibly, and write legibly for documentation. Basic computer skills. Professional and respectful communication skills with clients and their families or other parties. Ability to intervene with clients to implement behavioral interventions, including physical restraint, lifting, and transporting. Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, reach, and move regularly. Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, with a registered and insured vehicle. First Aid/CPR Certification (training provided if needed). MAP Certification for medication administration (training provided if needed). Safety Care Certification (training provided if needed).
