Team Lead

Responsibilities To complete and assign work‑specific activities to team members and to provide direction, guidance, and training in the completion of these activities. This includes resolving complex work‑related issues by establishing strong relationships with both internal and external customers. Ensures team members complete necessary work‑related activities and assignments on time, maintains outstanding internal and external customer service, demonstrates sound communication skills, and provides direction by answering questions on any specific work‑related issue or problem. Resolves routine and complex issues related to day‑to‑day activities, provides guidance and training on new activities, assigns work activities based on skill levels, performs quality audits of completed work, records and tracks results, reviews errors, arranges necessary training, and compiles daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure quality measurement goals are achieved. Maintains and controls the flow of work to and from other departments, compiles information and completes a team productivity and quality report, works with supervisors or managers to anticipate and identify any existing problems with an individual team member’s productivity or with the team as a whole regarding workflow and productivity output. Makes professional recommendations to management regarding continuous constructive activities that would further enhance or improve workflow production and results, and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 3 years of business experience, of which 6 months is in a brokerage industry and/or customs brokerage working environment. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers. Ability to train and motivate team members to ensure an optimum flow of work productivity. Preferred Qualifications No additional preferred qualifications are listed for this role. Compensation & Hours Pay: $32.21 – $48.30 USD per hour. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (Hybrid).
