Compensation: $36.05–$45.67 per hour
$10,500 Sign-On Bonus

We are seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to join a collaborative rehabilitation healthcare team in Augusta, Georgia . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced wound care professional who enjoys combining hands-on patient care with program development, clinical education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You'll have the opportunity to help guide wound care practices throughout the hospital while developing meaningful relationships with patients and their families throughout the recovery process.

What You'll Do

As the Wound Program Coordinator, you'll oversee and help advance wound care services while ensuring compliance with physician orders, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee and develop hospital wound care services in accordance with regulatory standards and physician orders

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other clinical team members regarding wound care treatments and best practices

• Serve as a clinical resource for staff regarding wound assessment, treatment, prevention, and management

• Lead wound care education and training for hospital staff

• Educate patients and family members regarding wounds, treatment plans, prevention, and ongoing care

• Remain current on evolving wound care techniques, treatments, and clinical advancements

• Participate in continuing wound care education through seminars and professional organizations

• Provide direct patient care when needed

• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs throughout recovery

• Support positive patient outcomes and celebrate milestones throughout the recovery journey

What We're Looking For

Licensure & Certification

• Current RN, Physical Therapist (PT), or Occupational Therapist (OT) license required for an acute rehabilitation hospital

• RN license required for a long-term acute care hospital

• Current CPR certification required

Experience & Education

• Minimum of one year of wound care experience required

• Ongoing wound care education through seminars and/or professional organizations required

• Strong knowledge of wound care practices, treatments, and clinical standards

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong clinical decision-making abilities

• Ability to work independently and autonomously

• Comfortable educating clinical staff, patients, and families

• Collaborative approach to multidisciplinary patient care
