Pediatric Epileptologist Opportunity
Join a dynamic and collaborative pediatric neuroscience program dedicated to providing advanced, comprehensive care for children with epilepsy and seizure disorders. This opportunity is ideal for a fellowship-trained Epileptologist seeking to practice in a high-acuity, well-supported environment with access to cutting-edge technology and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Program Highlights
- Practice within a NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center, offering the highest level of medical and surgical epilepsy care
- Comprehensive epilepsy program spanning diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management
- Dedicated epilepsy monitoring unit with continuous video EEG capabilities
- Collaborative care model with pediatric neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, and other pediatric subspecialties
- Opportunity to participate in program development, clinical research, and advanced epilepsy care initiatives
Clinical Focus
- Evaluation and management of complex epilepsy and seizure disorders
- Pre-surgical evaluation and ongoing management of refractory epilepsy
- Interpretation of EEG, long-term video EEG monitoring, and advanced neurodiagnostic studies
- Management of comorbid neurological conditions in pediatric patients
Technology & Resources
- Continuous video EEG monitoring and advanced neurophysiology services
- MRI, CT, and other advanced neuroimaging capabilities
- Access to comprehensive surgical epilepsy evaluation resources
- Multidisciplinary epilepsy care team and support staff
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
- Fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred
- Eligible for California medical licensure
