A-Line Staffing is now hiring Specialty Pharmacy Technicians in Norfolk, VA . The role would be working for a major LTC, Closed-door, specialty Pharmacy company and has career growth potential . Looking to fill ASAP!

Compensation

• The pay for this position is $22 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Shift Options Available: (all Monday - Friday with rotating weekends with a weekday off)

• 12pm-8:30pm
• 1pm-9:30pm
• 3:30pm-12:00am

Responsibilities

• Using prescription data entry procedures and guidelines, processes new patient registration by entering data into appropriate system.
• Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders for processing.
• Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information, and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolves all data entry related exceptions. Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through different workflow stages with a focus on quality control.
• Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship.
• Clean and help maintain machinery and maintain an orderly work area.
• Resolves Third Party Rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Virginia Pharmacy Technician License
• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty, hospital, closed-door, or LTC Pharmacy Technician experience
