About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery – Kansas

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Patient ratio 4-6:1. Unit features 29 beds with a collaborative team of 1 charge nurse and 2-3 RNs per night shift.

• Travel RN opportunity in a dedicated Birth Care Suite specializing in Labor & Delivery and postpartum care
• Diverse case mix including post-operative gynecological surgeries, high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring (NSTs), and postpartum complications
• EMR system: Meditech with CPN fetal monitoring technology
• Modern equipment including Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, and point-of-care glucose monitoring
• Supportive team environment with experienced nursing staff and structured shift leadership
• Multiple positions available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Postpartum experience required
• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• OB experience preferred
• Med-Surg or GYN experience is a plus
