We feature a brand-new, modern office with a calm coastal aesthetic. Our philosophy prioritizes quality over quantity, offering 60-minute appointments and fostering a supportive, communicative environment free from corporate production pressures. We are rapidly growing, welcoming $30+$ new patients monthly, and are dedicated to building a team committed to excellence and patient comfort. Employment Type Part-time Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation General Dentistry Licensed dental hygienist Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Current CPR certification. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, oral anatomy, and general dentistry procedures. Proven ability to perform dental scaling and other preventative procedures. Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality. Expertise in healthcare infection prevention and control, sterilization, and aseptic techniques. Excellent patient care and communication skills for effective patient interaction and health education. Keen attention to detail in documentation and clinical procedures. Job Description Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent and manage oral disease. Take, record, and accurately document patient vital signs and comprehensive medical histories. Conduct detailed patient assessments to evaluate oral health status and identify potential issues requiring further diagnosis and treatment. Provide comprehensive health education and counseling to patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and overall preventive health. Review and maintain accurate patient records and documentation (patient charting) in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, including dental sterilization and disinfection procedures, to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate effectively with the dentist and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient treatment plans. Utilize dental office software for efficient scheduling, charting, and managing patient records.
