Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Paraprofessional Starting Date: Aug 24, 2026 Position Type: Regular Job Location: Western High School, Parma, Michigan Job Description Western School District is seeking one (1) Class IV LRE Paraprofessional for Western High School. Responsibilities Assist students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and healthcare needs. Physically assist students with mobility as required. Communicate with teachers and parents regarding students' healthcare needs. Remain comfortable with the use of technology. Be prepared to relocate between different classrooms throughout the school day. Qualifications High School Graduate. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with adults and children, with strong organizational skills, time management, and professionalism. Team player. Willingness to complete 7–9 hours of professional development throughout the school year. Highly qualified as per Michigan Department of Education Guidelines. High School/Trade School degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required. Position Availability One (1) full-time Class IV LRE Paraprofessional position.
