Physical Therapist - Inpatient - Chula Vista

Position Summary Full‑time Inpatient Physical Therapist (64 hrs/2 weeks) at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. If census is low you may also work in Hillcrest. Responsibilities Provide Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements. Collaborate closely with other rehabilitation disciplines to deliver patient‑centered care. Support a tight‑knit inpatient department in a southern San Diego community. Compensation and Benefits Salary range (California only): $54.24 – $78.66 per hour. New Hire Retention Incentive: $4,000. Relocation incentive: $3,000 for moves from 100+ miles away. Bonus Eligible*. Incentive Eligibility Not eligible: Internal candidates. Not eligible: Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago. Retention Incentive Criteria Remain in original hired FTE status and shift (if specified in the offer letter). Remain in original department/specialty. Remain in original job title. Transfers to other locations may result in forfeiture of remaining incentive unless specifically noted in your offer letter. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy. Licensed as a PT in the State of California or have a pending CA PT license (must be in hand by start date). Current BLS Certificate. Physical therapy manual therapy skills (preferred).
