This role helps ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all facility systems while supporting sustainability initiatives, operational excellence, and high-quality service delivery across a multi-building site.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Assisting the Chief Engineer with daily operations of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systemsSupervising and coordinating maintenance staff and contractors across first and second shiftsMonitoring and maintaining building automation and control systems to optimize energy efficiency and performanceConducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and resolve potential issuesResponding to emergency situations and providing technical expertise to address building-related problemsSupporting sustainability initiatives and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulationsManaging administrative responsibilities, including billing, documentation, and work order trackingMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and compliance requirementsCollaborating with property management, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality facility servicesDesired experience and technical skills:Experience supporting or managing commercial building operations and maintenanceWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systemsAbility to supervise engineering staff and coordinate contractors effectivelyStrong computer skills with experience in administrative work, documentation, and billingAvailability to work first shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)Ability to respond to emergency situations as neededStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsPreferred:Experience with Siemens and Prism building automation/control systemsPrior leadership or supervisory experience in a facilities or engineering environmentExperience supporting multi-building sitesFamiliarity with sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance in commercial real estateAdditional Details:Schedule: First shift, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Pay Range: $43–$46 per hourThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
