Middle School Math Teacher

Job Summary RW Combs Elementary is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This full-time position requires collaboration with fellow educators, parents, and the community to support the educational journey of our middle school students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents. Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love for learning. Utilize technology and various teaching resources to enhance the learning experience. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices. Support extracurricular activities, including math clubs or competitions, to promote student interest in mathematics. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Uphold school policies and procedures while fostering a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for middle school education. Proven experience teaching middle school mathematics or a related subject is preferred. Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and curriculum standards for middle school. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Proficiency in using technology and educational software to support teaching and learning.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
