Associate Designer - Beauty New York, NY, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1046 Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually Associate Designer - Beauty Summary: We are looking for a Associate Designer to join our team who has a passion for makeup and beauty. This is a great opportunity for those looking to be a part of an energetic, creative, and collaborative group. Our designers have been shaping our department for the better season after season. Responsibilities: Take design ownership of selected licensed brands, assigned based on your aesthetic and creative strengths, and create complete seasonal collections. Develop CADs for a variety of private label accounts, ensuring all designs align with brand DNA and aesthetic direction. Conduct trend and market research to inform design concepts and maintain market relevance. Collaborate closely with the Design Director and Senior Designers, contributing creatively throughout the design process. Communicate effectively with international offices and factories to support smooth production and execution. Partner with the Product Development team to ensure your designs are brought to life accurately and effectively. Conduct sourcing, trend research, and competitive shopping to stay on top of market trends and innovation.
